Handcrafted on the Central Coast

Growing up here in Cambria, on the central coast of California, I was drawn to nature. I was surrounded by the Monterey Pine forests, rolling hills, and the Pacific ocean. I usually gravitated to the beaches. Watching the surf, exploring the colorful and lively tidepools, and gazing at the beautiful beach rocks all along Moonstone beach. This fascination with the ocean led me to surfing/fishing and collecting beautiful "gems" found along the beaches of the central coast.

I've been collecting Cambria "moonstones" since about twelve. It is still a way of escaping the world for an hour or two. I've always enjoyed the uniqueness of each individual stone.

Jade came into my life once I started hanging out in Big Sur. Jade is given as gifts, and or traded as one does money in the real world. True value, for a semi-precious stone. All found on the beaches of Big Sur.

I joined the "Cambria Jade Gang" once moving back to Cambria, and learned to read and work with jade during our Friday night gatherings. My passion grew...
