Create an all-inclusive space and place for creative expression, offer an opportunity to create and share original work within community, and through our publications, to give voice to, honor, celebrate and amplify the experiences and imaginations of writers and artists who are often excluded from mainstream cultural outlets.

We embrace the mission of API to dismantle stereotypes and reduce fear through telling stories across socio-economic differences as means to build a beloved community that celebrates abundance, mutuality, and equality. 

Writing group, held since 2021, has become a staple within this community. Our contributors come from a diverse range of backgrounds, yet every Friday we all come together to laugh, cry, rant, enjoy and most of all listen. This kind of connection is integral to social health and gives our anthology a special kind of charm. 

Then, we started producing collections of these works in the form of "zines" (short-form creative magazines). Now, we can not only share our stories with the world, but in doing so give back to the space that has empowered us to exist, as all of the profits are direct donations back to API.
