We develop adaptive semiconductor devices and systems by integrating functional nanomaterials, high-resolution printing, mechanical deformability, and advanced optoelectronic functions. Since 2019, our work has spanned quantum dot and perovskite displays, flexible and stretchable electronics, wearable optoelectronics, and soft robotics, with results published in Nature Nanotechnology, Nature Photonics, Nature Electronics, Science Advances, Advanced Materials, and other leading journals.
Four connected research platforms spanning materials, processes, devices, and systems.
High-efficiency quantum dot and perovskite emitters, ultrahigh-resolution patterning and transfer printing, and flexible full-color displays.
Flexible and stretchable photodetectors, image sensors, multifunctional light-emitting and light-sensing devices, photovoltaics, and photoenergy conversion.
Multisensory displays combining visual, tactile, and motion information, shape-changing displays, soft actuators, and integrated soft robots.
Deformable transistors and circuits, nanocomposite and printed semiconductor devices, and wearable and skin-attached electronic systems.
