About Me

Hi! I’m Desiryee, proud parent to a wonderful daughter and a fur-mama to 10 cats and one dog. My cats run the house like a committee, and the dog… well, he thinks he’s the boss! And yes, bedtime around here is basically a full-on negotiation.

I’ve lived in our local community for years, and it’s a place I truly love. I started Mookie’z Night Owlz because I know firsthand how challenging it can be for parents to find reliable overnight childcare. As someone who worked overnight shifts, I struggled to find a safe, caring place for my own child—and I knew other parents faced the same challenge.

At Mookie’z Night Owlz, we provide a safe, nurturing, and fun environment where every child feels loved and valued. Our overnight and evening programs are designed for parents who work non-traditional hours, need peace of mind during the night, or simply want a reliable and caring place for their children.

I believe in treating every child like family. That means plenty of smiles, cozy nap times, fun activities, and a watchful eye to make sure your little one is safe and happy while you’re away. Whether it’s playtime with friends, storytime, or settling in for the night, we aim to create a home-like atmosphere that parents can trust and kids enjoy.

And just so you know—if you ever see me surrounded by 10 cats and a dog at home, don’t worry: I’ve mastered the art of organized chaos. That experience helps me understand how important patience, love, and flexibility are when caring for children of all personalities.
