Welcome to Mood Mesh ("Company", "we", "our", "us"). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy informs you as to how we look after your personal data when you use our mobile application ("App") and tells you about your privacy rights and how the law protects you.
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you consent to the data practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the App.
Mood Mesh is designed with privacy-by-default principles.
No Account Required: We do not require you to create an account.
No Personally Identifiable Information (PII): We do not actively collect, store, or transmit your name, email address, physical address, phone number, or any other direct identifying information.
While we do not collect PII, the App does process certain information to function properly and serve advertisements.
The App utilizes local storage (shared_preferences) on your device to save:
Gameplay progress (levels unlocked, stars earned).
Virtual economy balances (coins, hints).
App preferences (sound, haptics, theme).
Player nickname and avatar selection.
Self-reported age (for compliance purposes, detailed in Section 5).
Usage: This data remains strictly on your physical device. We do not transmit, sync, or back up this data to our servers. If you delete the App, this local data will be permanently erased.
We use third-party advertising services, specifically Google AdMob, to display advertisements within the App. These third parties may use cookies, web beacons, and other tracking technologies to collect information about you when you use our App.
The information they collect may be associated with your personal information or they may collect information, including personal information, about your online activities over time and across different websites, apps, and other online services. They may use this information to provide you with interest-based (behavioral) advertising or other targeted content.
Data collected automatically by these third-party services may include:
Device identifiers (e.g., Apple Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) or Android Advertising ID).
IP address.
Device type, operating system, and network information.
General, non-precise location data.
App usage analytics.
Opting Out: You can opt out of personalized advertising by adjusting the privacy settings on your iOS or Android device (e.g., enabling "Limit Ad Tracking" on iOS or "Opt out of Ads Personalization" on Android).

We use commercially reasonable security measures to protect the integrity of your App experience. Because all gameplay data is stored locally on your device, the security of that data relies heavily on your device's built-in security features (such as screen locks and device encryption). We are not responsible for any unauthorized access to your device that results in the exposure of your local App data.
We take the protection of children's privacy extremely seriously. Mood Mesh employs a neutral age-screening mechanism upon the initial launch of the App to ensure compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) in the United States and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in the European Union.
Users Under 13 (or applicable age of consent): If a user identifies themselves as being under the age of 13, we classify the user as a child. In this state, we configure our advertising partner (Google AdMob) to serve only non-personalized, child-directed advertisements (TagForChildDirectedTreatment.yes). We do not request, collect, or transmit any device advertising identifiers for targeted advertising to users under 13.
Users 13 and Older: If a user identifies themselves as 13 or older, they may be served personalized advertisements based on non-personally identifiable device metrics.
We do not knowingly collect Personally Identifiable Information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you believe we have inadvertently collected personal information from your child, please contact us immediately so we may take steps to delete such information.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the new Privacy Policy on this page and changing the "Effective Date" at the top of this document. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
