The Central Jersey Math League (CJML) is a math contest that takes place at various schools in Central Jersey about once every month. The top individuals and team are awarded, and qualifying participants will be able to move on to the American Regions Mathematics League (ARML). The CJML schedule this year is below:

The Harvard-MIT Mathematics Tournament is a math competition hosted by Harvard University for the November contest, and by MIT for the Febuary contest. It consists of many distinct rounds that are both individual and team.

The Princeton University Mathematics Competition (PUMaC) is a math competition hosted by Princeton University. It consists of individual rounds for each math topic, as well as team rounds. The top scorers get announced!

The American Mathematics Competition (AMC) is the first competition in the MAA series, and takes place in schools at around November. There are no prerequisites for this competition, and signups will be provided for all school members. The AMC 10/12 is a 25 question, 75 minute multiple choice examination, and knowledge of calculus is not required.

The American Invitational Mathematics Examination (AIME) follows the AMCs in the MAA (Mathematical Association of America) series. Top scorers in the AMC 10 (top 2.5%) and AMC 12 (top 5%) exams are invited to participate in this competition. It is a 15 question, 3 hour examination with each answer being an integer from 0-999, and the use of a calculator is not permitted.

The United States of America Mathematical Olympiad (USAMO) follows the AIME in the MAA series. To participate in this competition, participants need to exceed the USAMO cutoff, which is based on both their AMC 10/12 score, as well as their AIME score. Less than 300 people qualify for the USAMO annually, making this competition extremely prestigious and competitive. It is 6 question, 9 hour (broken into two days) proof-based examination.

The Carnegie Mellon Informatics and Mathematics Competition (CMIMC) is a competition hosted by Carnegie Mellon University. It consists of individual and team rounds, just like PUMaC.
