About Your Librarian, Mrs. Lackey...
I live in Calera with my husband, and our two sons. Together we enjoy fishing, swimming, the beach, and all things DISNEY!
I graduated from the University of Montevallo in 2010 with my bachelors in Elementary Education. I then began teaching first grade at MES. While teaching, I graduated with my masters in Library Media from the University of West Alabama. I then became a National Board Certified Teacher. I am very passionate about my job and I am so excited to to be your Library Media Specialist!
