SEMI-PERMANENT MAKE UP.
• What is Ombre Powder Brows?
This is a 2-part cosmetic tattoo procedure that creates/enhances the eyebrow shape. Dots of pigment are inserted into the skin to create a shaded “powder” effect. The overall look compares to having your eyebrows filled in with pomade/eyeshadow.
• How long does it last?
After the initial touch-up at 6-8 weeks, the cosmetic tattoo will last anywhere from 1-3 years contingent on your at-home care, natural skin structure, healing pattern, sun intake, and used skin care products.
• How long does it take?
The appointment will take anywhere from 3-4 hours. What takes the most time is the shaping. The tattooing itself takes about 1.5 hours.
• Is it painful?
The procedure is more uncomfortable than painful. A secondary anesthetic is applied after outlining and breaking the skin. Breaking the skin means one pass will be done on both eyebrows on raw skin. *Pain is subjective for everyone.
• How is brow shape determined?
Your brow shape will be determined using the Golden Ratio: Nostril alignment, Pupil/Iris, and outer corner of the eyes. These points will be used as a guide to create the shape of the brow. Face shape is also taken into account. The procedure will not begin until you approve the outlined shape.
• Are there pre-existing conditions that could impact eligibility for the service?
PREGNANCY/BREAST FEEDING: Clients who are pregnant or breastfeeding will not be accepted. If the client is pregnant and develops an infection, this can be difficult to treat. If breastfeeding, an infection can compromise milk.
CHEMOTHERAPY: It can be performed in the first week (leukocyte count 2,000-3,000); there is a risk of infection when the level of the white blood cells is lower than 1,000.
DIABETES: Pigmentation can be performed only with the consent of a doctor and under strict medical control and monitoring of the diabetes.
PSORIASIS: Pigmentation in active psoriasis can cause the spread
of the disease to the site of the epidermal irritation.
BROWS.
Your brow shape will be determined using the Golden Ratio: Nostril alignment, Pupil/Iris, and the outer corner of the eyes. These points will be used as a guide to create the shape of the brow. Face shape is also taken into account. The service will not begin until you approve the outlined shape.
• What is brow tinting?
Eyebrow tinting is a technique used to semi-permanently color brow hairs. The tint also stains the skin allowing the appearance of a fuller brow.
• How long does it last?
The brow tint dyes the hair and stains the skin. The dye on the hair lasts up to 2 months and the stain on the skin lasts between 1-2 weeks depending on your skin type and daily lifestyle. The oilier your skin, the more makeup you use or the more you sweat the less amount of time it’ll last. It is not recommended if you have oily skin, work outdoors, AND work out daily.
• How long does it take?
The appointment takes about 1 hour. Some skin types take slightly longer to absorb the tint so the time may vary.
•How often should I schedule?
The stain on the skin lasts about 2 weeks, it is recommended but not mandated to schedule every 2 weeks. If you have lash extensions, the maintenance and brow tint can be done in the same appointment.
• How do I take care of them at home?
DO:
Wash your face regularly avoiding the brow area
Use a cotton ball/round to dab on the brows
Apply face makeup as desired avoiding the brow area
DON’T:
Rub or scrub eyebrows
Excessive sweating
Submerge head in water (ocean, pool, shower)
Makeup ON eyebrows
Oil-based makeup or skin care products on the forehead
• What is lamination?
Laminations chemically lift and straighten the hairs to make the brows appear sleek. The hair will keep its form even without the use of brow gels.
• How long does it last?
Laminations last about 5-8 weeks depending on the aftercare, hair type, and hair porosity. If tinting, the tint on the brows will last 2 months on the hair and up to 2 weeks on the skin.
• How long does it take?
The appointment takes about 1.5 - 2 hours. Some hair types take slightly longer to become elastic. Tinting adds time as well.
• How often should I schedule?
As this is a chemical procedure, appointments should be scheduled every 5-8 weeks. During this time you can continue to schedule waxing and/or tinting appointments for the brows.
• How do I take care of them at home?
Laminations are very low maintenance. Simply hydrate them with the provided nourishing oil once to twice daily and brush the brows throughout the day as needed. Avoid steam rooms/showers for optimal retention.

•Do extensions damage your natural lashes?
NO! If done correctly and ethically lash extensions do not damage natural lashes. Proper practice includes but is not limited to isolation, understanding adhesive chemistry, and considering the state of the natural lashes to decide the right extension length and diameter to use on the client. (If your natural lashes are very short, thin, and brittle, lash extensions are NOT for you and they will cause damage even if done properly.)
• How long does it take?
Appointments vary from 2-3 hours.
• How long does it last?
It can last up to 2 months for special events, but keep in mind many will fall and grow out. For daily wear, maintenance appointments must be scheduled every 2-3 weeks depending on style and your lash cycle.
• How are lash styles and designs determined?
Your face shape, eye shape, eye size, state of natural lashes, and space between your lash line and eyebrow all play a role in finding the perfect style and design for you.
• What is the purpose of a maintenance appt?
Every individual eyelash has its growth rate. As your lashes grow, there will be a large space between the extension and your lash line. Having the extension sit on the edge adds weight and stress causing the NL to fall out. Not following through with maintenance appointments can cause excessive fallout and damage to the lash line.
• Are there pre-existing conditions that could impact eligibility for the service?
Lash extensions are not recommended for those with hair thinning/loss medical conditions or those taking medications that cause hair thinning/loss.
