Current Committee Updates: 

Below are the committee descriptions from the PTO Bylaws.  Updates will be added from committees as they meet in the 2026-2027 School Year. 

Arts and Enrichment 🎭

Shall coordinate arts and enrichment activities with the school and work with the school to help sponsor and/or plan field trips.

Campus Beautification and Environmental Science 🌻

Shall oversee landscaping, maintaining the school grounds, and coordination with the environmental science programs and activities in accordance with the requirements and recommendations from the school principal. 

Communications 📰

Shall be responsible for the publication of PTO flyers, maintaining current information on the PTO website, posting news and announcements to the online parent notification system, updating the PTO bulletin board on a regular basis, and the publication of the annual yearbook. 

Fundraising 💵

Shall be responsible for all fundraising activities approved by the Executive Board and school principal.

Community Events 🎉

Shall coordinate hospitality for regular PTO meetings and other social functions for members, the holiday luncheon, gifts for faculty and staff, and teacher appreciation week.

Room Parent Coordinator 🍎

Shall organize and communicate with room parents to foster volunteers and PTO involvement.

Volunteer Coordinator ✋

Shall conduct an annual volunteer drive at the start of each school year, maintain a current database of volunteers, and coordinate volunteer assignments and recruitment for events throughout the school year. The volunteer coordinator will work with the school to track hours and recognize outstanding volunteers. The Volunteer Coordinator will also support room parents.
