Multilingual Euphemism Detection Shared Task
We are holding the Fourth Multilingual Euphemism Detection Shared Task as part of the Fourth Workshop on Figurative Language Processing, co-located with NAACL 2024.

We hosted an alumni event to bring together current and former students and faculty of the Linguistics Department. The event also included a panel of alumni from a variety of career paths and degree programs. Current students asked questions about panelists' linguistics training and job outside of academia.

Dr. Feldman and Dr. Peng received an NSF IMPRESS-U (https://www.nsf.gov/od/oise/IntlCollaborations/Ukraine.jsp) award! They will collaborate with Ivan Franko National University of Lviv (Dr. Iryna Dilai) and Institute of Computer Science, Polish Academy of Sciences (Dr. Witold Kieraś)!
