Making a Text-to-Self Connection

Think of the factors-- people, travels, cultural beliefs, and traditions-- that have shaped your world and helped to create your identity. Then choose one or more of these factors and write about how they have influenced who you are as a person. Your writing should be one well-developed paragraph. Use the contents of the three texts as inspiration for your writing. You must also use at least one quote from one of the texts to compare/contrast how the example from your life links with the text.

Note: Responses must be typed, using 12 point, Times New Roman font and follow all aspects of MLA format, including: proper heading, double-spacing, and parenthetical citations.
