Xolotl

Xolotl begin as monochromatic in color, once the 'soul' or human memory has settled into their new anthropomorphic, canine-like bodies their fur begins to change color and design to fit the 'soul' of each individual xolotl.

• Male and Female xolotl are identified the same as their old human bodies gender were, however some xolotl have extra 'hair' on their heads like their old bodies had, where as some do not and merely have extra 'fur'.
• The Size and appearance of each Xolotl is dependent on not only the 'soul' but somewhat upon their old human bodies. If a Previ-man (previous human body) is young or a child then their xolotl body will match this and will grow as they do.
• Being based on the Previ-man's 'Soul' makes their make-up somewhat unstable or constantly evolving, causing physical changes in appearance to happen should the 'soul' grow or change in anyway.
• Xolotl often have one to two natural base fur colors (I.E. Blonde,Auburn,Brown,Brunette,Black,White etc.)

• The Xolotl's Previ-Man 'Soul' gives them their odd or strange markings that are part of their fur, these marking can come in many unnatural fur colors,(I.E. Blues,Red,Purples,Greens,Yellows,Oranges etc.)
• Each Xolotl 'commonly' have simple designs, as well as no more than one unnatural fur color.
• The Rarer the Previ-man's 'Soul' type is the rarer and more complex the markings.
• The Xolotl's blood and organs are not red, in the beginning it is white or black, until the 'Soul' settles, this too dictates the color of the xolotl's blood and organ system.
• This in extension to the color of their blood includes, private parts,gums,paw pads, and any 'fleshy' bits, this does not include the nose however.
• Xolotl having unstable make-up , and though same organ systems as their Previ-man's the chemical make-up that pumps life into them is not the exact same as their Previ-man.
• In extension this gives each individual Xolotl strange abilities based on Elemental energies, as well as a unified ability to not 'age' or 'die' per say.
• They can be murdered or destroyed however they can not truly die, they simply reform from even the smallest of their remaining and even unseen particles.

• This 'reformation' ability breeds a secondary one called 'Ghosting' where the xolotl ,once reformed, can see a spectral image of themselves showing them what they did in order for them to learn and survive.
• The Xolotl also retains both sensory and mental memory of their 'death', meaning they may be slowed down for a period of 'healing' to get the sensory memory to fade in order to function as normal once again.
• The only way a Xolotl can truly die is if one chooses not to reform, or in some terms 'gives-up',Most Xolotl have an inherent biological perseverance however, so this is a rare if not seldom occurrence.
• Xolotl are very pacifistic by nature, however this does not mean they can not nor will not defend themselves or those they deem family or friend.
• Often times one can tell what type of Xolotl they are dealing with by the 'Symbols' in their eyes.
• The common symbols are; Hoop, Square,Triangle and Dot
• The more uncommon ones are; Hexagons,Octagons, Pentagons
• Rare Symbols consist of more complex designs such as; Hearts, Hypno Spirals, Target circles, Swirls, Diamonds, Slits, Clubs, Spades , Stars, Moons, and Suns

• Each Xolotl has abilities using elemental energies, each based on the individual Xolotl Previ-man 'Soul'
• Common Elemental Energies used are; Fire,Water,Earth, and Wind
• Uncommon Elemental Energies are: Metal, Stone, Ice, and Electricity
• Rare Elemental Energies are: Magma, Nature, Storm, and Blizzard
• Super Rare Elemental Energies are: Shadow,Gravity,Spirit,Light,Darkness,Arcane,Telekinetic etc.
• Quite often, Xolotl have companions of other species that they share a unique bond with, such creatures include birds, bats, even unidentified cryptids or monsters. These are not necessarily pets nor are they necessarily equals, they may be assistants or even mentors. Each relationship is different.
• In cases where the Previ-man had powers to begin with (such as telekinesis, precognition, etc.), these powers are transferred over, even those that would not occur normally in the process. Due to the rarity of such humans, this has only been documented a handful of times.
