SCRAPPED

The Warehouse was meant to be a tutorial on how to use UE5. I watched a 5 hour video by a youtuber to try and learn how the engine works. I very much enjoyed using the engine. It has a lot of great features that many other engines dont have. But sadly I spent the entire time creating a world and just making a map of a poorly mixed low poly warehouse. It looked fine but I had no idea what I wanted the game to be.
I am still proud of the lighting effects and overall look of the warehouse and setting. But I just had no idea what I wanted the game to be and it started to feel like I was just wasting time making some pointless warehouse. But still a good learning experience. I will now be switching to Godot and focusing more on 2D games because they will be easier to create and a little simpler for me while I try and create some small scale games.
Still im happy with the look (its hard to make anything look bad in UE5). But I gotta let it go and just learn when to scrap it. No shame! time to keep moving forward.
