About Monoshiro

Monoshiro is a design and lifestyle project inspired by Japanese minimalism.
The name means “only white” — a focus on clarity, calm, and essentials.

I create original watercolor designs of Japanese flowers and seasonal motifs, as well as minimalist tools for everyday life. Each piece is designed to be simple, balanced, and timeless.

In addition to design work, I also offer Japanese lessons for German and English speakers, where I combine language with cultural insights from a Western perspective.

Monoshiro is about finding beauty in essentials — whether through art, learning, or daily living.
