Working With Schools

At MM Education we seek to work with our school partners to enhance and develop learners into confident learners, especially with Maths. We focus on improving fluency and number sense through a range of methods embracing the ideals of an entertaining CPA approach to learning.

We offer a number of products for schools that can really enhance your mathematics provision by building confidence and encouraging children to apply their mathematical skills through interactive games and activities.

Small Group Interventions

We work with you to be able to develop skills for a small group of up to five students on one or a number of key skills within your curriculum. This half day starts with a meeting in school to discuss the needs of the group, then the intervention lasts for a half day with a uniquely designed programme for the students, the session ends with each student receiving a handbook based on the session with supporting information for parents to help support further at home.

Stretch and Challenge Workshops

Working with a group of up to 15 students we set individual and group challenges to push your students that little bit further. Our Workshops enable your students to understand mathematical concepts in greater depth . The Workshops take place in your school for a two hours and not only allow the most able to extend their ability and knowledge but it gives them the opportunity to work in different scenarios using Maths in ways they may not expect.

Whole Day School Experiences

We can offer fantastic whole day in school experiences for your school starting at £350.

Our days are created to facilitate problem solving and reasoning to promote mathematical thinking through engaging & fun themed days.

They can be tailored to your requirements and themed according to what your topics school teaches for example "Aztec Adventure", "Great War - Save the Battalion", "Catching Guy Fawkes", "Finding the Viking Hoard" and "The Stonehenge Mystery".

We will start with an assembly to introduce the day, work with each year group individually and then close with an end of day assembly.
