Who we are

Monkey Survival is a VR game for Meta Quest made by PizzaDev. This policy explains what player information the game collects, why, who helps us store it, and how to get it deleted.

What we collect

We only collect what the game needs to run, keep accounts and keep players safe.

• Game account ID: your PlayFab player ID, stored in PlayFab.

• Meta user ID: the number Meta gives your Quest account, stored in PlayFab to link your Quest to your game account.

• Player name: MONKEY1234, or the name you pick, stored in PlayFab and shown to other players.

• Monkey look: your colour, outfit and the cosmetics you own, stored in PlayFab.

• Purchases: cosmetics and bundles you bought, stored in PlayFab and by Meta.

• Play stats: play time, badges and achievements, stored in PlayFab.

• Device code: a scrambled code made from your headset (not your headset's real ID), stored in PlayFab.

• Safety reports: reports from other players, anti-cheat flags, staff warnings, kicks and bans, stored in PlayFab.

• IP address and rough location (your country or region), used by Cloudflare and PlayFab.

• Discord ID, only if you choose to link your Discord account, stored in PlayFab and by our Discord bot.

We do not collect your real name, address, phone number, photos, or your Meta profile name or picture.

Why we use it

We use this information only to run the game:

• Your account: to log you in and keep your cosmetics, purchases and badges.

• Multiplayer: to put you in rooms with other players and show your name and monkey to them.

• Purchases: to check with Meta that a purchase is real and give you what you bought.

• Safety: to stop cheaters, act on reports, and keep banned players from coming back on new accounts.

We never use it for ads, and we never sell it.

Voice chat

Monkey Survival has live voice chat so players in the same room can talk. Voice goes through Photon live and is not recorded or saved by us.

You are in control:

• Turn your own mic off for everyone with MIC on the computer's SETTINGS tab.

• Mute any other player from the player board at spawn.

• Report a player from the player board, or open a ticket in our Discord.

Staff can mute players who break the rules.

Kids and parents

Monkey Survival is made with young players in mind. It is meant for players 10 and up, following Meta's rules for Quest accounts.

• We only collect the information listed above. We never ask for a real name, address, school or photos.

• Parents can manage voice chat, purchases and play time with Meta's parental supervision tools in the Meta Horizon app.

• A parent can ask us to delete their child's account and data at any time (see Deleting your data). We may ask for the child's in-game name or player ID to find the right account.

Who we share it with

We never sell player information or give it to other players. We only use these services to run the game, and each one keeps the data secure:

• Meta: Quest login, checking you own the game, and purchases.

• PlayFab (Microsoft): game accounts, cosmetics, stats and bans.

• Photon (Exit Games): multiplayer rooms and live voice chat.

• Cloudflare: our login server, which checks logins and purchases.

• Discord: only if you link your Discord account to the game.

We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect players from serious harm.

Purchases and refunds

Real-money purchases (cosmetic bundles) go through Meta's own checkout. We never see your card or payment details. Purchases only change how your monkey looks; they never make you stronger.

Refunds are handled by Meta under Meta's refund policy. If you bought something and didn't get it, email us or open a ticket in our Discord and we'll sort it out. Your bundles are also given back automatically the next time you log in.

Deleting your data

We keep your information while your account exists. Safety reports from other players are only counted for 14 days.

To delete your account and everything stored about it, email pizzadev213@gmail.com or open a ticket in our Discord. Tell us your in-game name so we can find your account. We delete it within 30 days, and it can't be undone: your cosmetics and badges are gone for good.

If an account was banned, we may keep a small record (the account ID and the reason) so the ban can't be dodged.

Deleting the game's app data on your headset (Settings > Storage) only clears settings saved on that headset. It does not delete your account; ask us for that.

Keeping it safe

Our PlayFab, Photon, Cloudflare and Meta accounts are protected with two-factor login, and secret keys stay on our server, never in the game.

We will never use your information against you. If anyone claims we gave them your information, or uses it to threaten you, it isn't true: report them in the game or open a ticket in our Discord.
