We came here thinking it was a random place we saw on Google Maps to check out the area, but we were greeted with the best surprise. Spending a day here was one of my favorite days in Lombok. You get such an amazing and local experience thanks to the kind people who live there, and a big thank you to Zaki for showing us your home and treating us like family. We ended up spending the entire day with the most amazing people here. If we didn’t leave the next day, we would 100% come back. This day at Monkey Cave Lombok is something I will remember for the rest of my life!
They won’t ask for anything from you, but try to bring some money as it is a donation to the kids and the resources here

You are not in a tourist attraction, but in the home of a local. You will be greeted like royalty, and they will guide you to the heart of the cave. In this small hamlet there are many orphans who have been adopted by the residents. One of them teaches, but he is poorly equipped. They will not ask you anything, but please do not come empty-handed. Small tickets and/or school supplies/clothes are always welcome.

You have to go here! From the first moment you are welcomed by this beautiful family. They have so much to try, showing you the Monkey Cave, telling you about Lombok and so much more. They also teach English in the village. They don't charge anything for the amazing experience, but don't forget to bring some money to contribute to their beautiful dream.
