I am an Assistant Professor in the Applied Statistics Unit (Statistical Sciences Division), Indian Statistical Institute (ISI), Bangalore. Prior to this, I was a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Applied Statistics Unit, ISI Kolkata. My mentor in this position was Prof. Arijit Chakrabarti. Earlier, I was a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Institute for Statistics, University of Bremen, Germany. My mentor in this position was Prof. Thorsten Dickhaus.
Earlier, I have obtained my PhD at ISI Kolkata. My PhD thesis (link) on simultaneous statistical inference was advised by Prof. Subir Kumar Bhandari. I defended my thesis in May, 2024.
Research Interests:
Multiple hypotheses testing, Asymptotic statistics, High-dimensional statistical inference, Probability Inequalities.

(July'26) I have been awarded the "TMC-RMS Best Thesis Paper Prize" by the Ramanujan Mathematical Society (RMS).
(Dec'25) I have been awarded the "Prof. A. R. Kamat Award for Best PhD Thesis in Statistics, 2025" by the Indian Society for Probability and Statistics (ISPS).
