I am a Technical Director in Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) at GHD, with more than 15 years of professional experience in engineering, system design, and large-scale infrastructure projects. My work spans the development and deployment of intelligent and data-driven transport systems, with a focus on practical and scalable solutions.
I received a PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, specialising in wireless communications and non-convex optimisation. My research focuses on the development of rigorous optimisation frameworks for secure wireless communication systems, with particular emphasis on physical layer security, robust design under imperfect and uncertain channel state information (CSI), and resource allocation.
My doctoral research developed optimisation-based methodologies for secure and robust wireless system design under uncertainty, addressing challenges arising from imperfect and uncertain channel state information.
More recently, my research has expanded to learning-driven communication paradigms, including federated learning and data-efficient communication in distributed systems.
I am also a Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng).
