Family medicine is a broad medical specialty providing on-going, comprehensive health care for the individual and the family. The scope of Family Medicine encompasses all ages, both genders, each organ system and every disease entity. Family physicians are fully prepared to serve in clinics, hospitals and urgent care settings, including emergency departments, and in urban, suburban and rural communities.
