In 2020 my colleague Jenny asked me to join her and participate in an Erasmus+ project with my students. Until then, I had only heard about Erasmus projects from the stories of my children's friends. They all came back enthusiastically from shorter or longer stays all over Europe. I immediately liked the idea of participating in such an international project together with schools from Estonia, Spain and Denmark. And in 2022, we travelled to Varde.

The motto of the week was Nobody wins unless everybody wins, a quote from a song by Bruce Springsteen, who inspired the film Blinded by the Light.

This film was the starting point for the exchange in international groups. The aim was to improve the English language and deal with topics such as gender equality, European integrity and human rights.

For the six students as well as for us teachers, it was an eventful week, and we left with many new impressions, experiences and even new friends.
