Reviewed KXIP's app for Android devices
Submitted an Excel report on application design, interface, and content errors with suggestions for improvements
Reviewed WCW's app for Android devices
Sent an email on grammatical errors in the app description along with suggestions to make app personalised for each user—like having an account sign up form, a leader-board for contests that we were doing back then, adding a favourite team option, receiving notifications for a specific match, social sharing options in the app for increased app installs, etc.
Promoted OneCricket's official mobile app for Android & iOS devices via social media creatives + app screenshots with commentary
Included a text prompt in social media creatives with both app platforms' logo on match days
Shared screenshots of ball-by-ball commentary during LIVE matches from (Android) mobile app on Instagram as Stories with additional commentary to drive app installs + creating an Expert-like match experience for our audience as if they are either in the stadium or watching the match LIVE on TV or via a mobile app
Since no screenshots were taken (for the KXIP app), there is nothing evidential to present here in visual form.
The Excel sheet includes thorough details about the app and its content / design, and sharing would mean a breach of company contract; hence, no sheet either.
Regarding the KXIP app, I never heard back from anyone about the report and the suggestions made; so, I am unable to say whether something was even done in reality based on my report.
Regarding the WCW app, there were minor changes made during my work tenure (most of which were planned beforehand). The founders didn't comment on whether the suggestions submitted by me will be made live in the next update.
Regarding the OneCricket app, check this page for evidential support regarding app promotion + creating a match day-like experience for an event that happens completely offline but hyped on social media channels for an online audience to cherish and enjoy.
With my knowledge credentials in IT, design & analytics, I am able to understand expectations from the end-users' perspectives. And going forward, would be interested in co-creating mobile apps for brands with different teams and individuals. : )
