This privacy policy applies to the Monify - Track and Manage Money app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by Shahnawaz (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as a Free service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".
The Application is designed with a privacy-first approach. You are not required to create an account or log in to use the app. To provide a secure and personalized experience, we categorize data handling into three types:
You have the option to personalize your app experience by setting a custom Name and Profile Picture.
Strictly Local: This information is saved locally on your device. The Service Provider DOES NOT collect, transmit, or store your name or profile photo on any external servers.
The Service Provider strictly respects your privacy regarding your financial records.
Local Storage: All financial data entered by you (such as income, expenses, transaction amounts, categories, and notes) is stored completely offline on your device's local storage.
Personal Backup: If you choose to enable the backup feature, this data is stored exclusively in your personal Google Drive account.
No Server Access: The Service Provider DOES NOT view, store, sell, trade, or have access to your personal financial data at any time.
To keep the app running smoothly and to show relevant advertisements, the Application may collect certain information automatically:
App Usage & Analytics: The Application uses Google Analytics for Firebase to collect information about how the app is used (e.g., active users, session duration, and feature engagement). This helps us improve the app.
Advertising (AdMob): The Application displays ads provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use pseudonymized identifiers (like the Android Advertising ID) to serve personalized or non-personalized ads.
Technical Data: We may collect your device's Internet Protocol (IP) address, operating system version, and crash logs (via Firebase Crashlytics) to fix bugs.
Location: The Application does not gather precise information about the location of your mobile device.
We collect the automatic usage and log information for the following purposes:
To provide and maintain our service.
To improve app performance and user experience.
To display relevant advertisements (which keeps the app free).
To fix bugs and technical issues.
To send important updates, reminders, and notifications.

The Application uses Firebase Cloud Messaging to send you push notifications regarding updates, daily reminders, and alerts. This service may collect your Device ID to determine which device to send a message to. You can opt-out of receiving push notifications at any time by adjusting your device settings.
Usage and analytics information may be stored and processed in servers located outside your country (wherever Google/Firebase servers are located). By using our app, you consent to this transfer of information.
Because your profile and financial data are never saved on our servers, you have absolute control over your information:
Local Data: You can delete all your financial data, name, and profile picture instantly by simply uninstalling the Application or clearing the app's data in your device settings.
Cloud Backup: If you have enabled Google Drive backups, you must manually delete the backup file from your personal Google Drive.
Since we do not hold your data on any central server, there is no need to submit an external account deletion request.
You can stop all automatic collection of analytics and advertising identifiers by uninstalling the Application. You can also reset or delete your Android Advertising ID via your phone's Google settings.
The Service Provider may disclose Automatically Collected Information:
as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena or similar legal process;
when they believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect their rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request.
The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. The Application does not address anyone under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact the Service Provider so necessary actions can be taken.
We value your trust. The Service Provider provides procedural safeguards to protect the analytics and log information processed. However, please be aware that no security system or method of transmission over the internet can be 100% secure.
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes by updating this page. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.
By using the Application, you are consenting to our processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended by us.
