Outreach
I usually attend and/or offer a workshop at an Ottawa Mathematics PD Day each year.
I sometimes offer a math workshop as part of the Science Preparatory Workshops of the Faculty of Science, in August.
I participate in Workshops by the Centre for University Teaching for graduate student TAs in the Faculties of Science and Engineering.
I give talks and/or workshops on mathematics programs, mathematics careers, and applications of pure mathematics on University of Ottawa Day and other departmental outreach activities.
I often give lectures at the CMS Summer Math Camp (sponsored by the Canadian Mathematical Society) and the Math Horizons Day, two initiatives of the University of Ottawa. These invitation-only activities offer a fun and lively introduction to upper level mathematics to mathematically talented high school students.
I've been a guest speaker in the Adventures in Science and Engineering Teen Sci summer program.
I have been invited to conduct a Mathematics or Coding activity with groups of Brownies (Girl Guides of Canada) in various parts of Ottawa (2008--).
