Damba was a well-respected economist who contributed to several areas of economics. As one of the leading economists in Mongolia, he played a vital role in fostering academic exchange and collaboration, notably by organizing annual conferences that brought together Mongolian economists from around the world. The National University of Mongolia, the University of Finance and Economics, and the Mongolian Economics Association are organizing a memorial conference in his honor in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. The conference is held in the spirit of continuing his legacy—strengthening scholarly connections and advancing economic research in Mongolia.
