Privacy Policy for MoneyUp

This privacy policy applies to the MoneyUp app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by Nodland Studio (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as a Freemium service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".

Information Collection and Use

The Application collects information when you download and use it. This information may include information about your device and automated decisions taken on the basis of this information.

Personal Data

As a personal ledger and expense tracking application, MoneyUp allows you to input financial data, transaction histories, and budget information. This data is stored locally on your device and/or securely synced with our backend services to provide the core functionality of the Application. We do not sell this data to third parties.

Third-Party Access

Only aggregated, anonymized data is periodically transmitted to external services to aid the Service Provider in improving the Application and their service. The Service Provider may share your information with third parties in the ways that are described in this privacy statement.

The Application utilizes the following third-party services that have their own Privacy Policies about handling data:

• Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics

  • We use Firebase to collect usage data and crash reports. This helps us understand how the app is used, identify bugs, and improve user experience. The data collected includes device information, location data, and in-app activity, but it does not include personally identifiable financial data you input into the ledger.

• RevenueCat

  • We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions and in-app purchases. RevenueCat handles purchase transactions and subscription status. To do this, RevenueCat may collect and process data related to your purchase history and an anonymous app user ID to provide access to premium features.

The Service Provider may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information:

• as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process;

• when they believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect their rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request;

• with their trusted services providers who work on their behalf, do not have an independent use of the information we disclose to them, and have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this privacy statement.

Data Security

We are concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. We provide physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information we process and maintain. For example, we limit access to this information to authorized employees and contractors who need to know that information in order to operate, develop or improve their Application. Please be aware that, although we endeavor to provide reasonable security for information we process and maintain, no security system can prevent all potential security breaches.

Children's Privacy

The Service Provider does not knowingly collect or solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that their child has provided us with information without their consent, they should contact the Service Provider at nodland.studio@gmail.com.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes to their Privacy Policy by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.

Data Deletion

You have the right to request the deletion of your account and all associated data held by the Application. If you wish to delete your account, please contact us via email at nodland.studio@gmail.com with your request. We will process your request and ensure your data is permanently removed from our systems.
