After working with app varibles, I have finally made the savings slider on the savings page correspond and update the value for how much the user want's to save in real time. While this may work at the time, when the app is restarted it is automatically set back to the default value. I am looking into using google firebase/firestore to store the relavant data, access it in real time, and have it use that permanantly and not go back to the default value when the app is restarted. Monday 9th November 2023:
After a day of working on initial designs, ideas and preparing for our entry, We have made good progress. This portfolio site has been made, a first look at brocheurs for helping our entry and the basic app template, colour-scheme and logo. The design "Provides knowledge on budgeting, saving and responsible financial management was decided on, as it is in our best interests, out of the 4 listed ideas. It is looking likely that we will be entering under the "App Prototype Entry" as work has already started on an app. As stated above, we do plan to submit a few brochures and other related graphics to promote our idea.
