Money Planner: Expense Budget ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our mobile application handles your data. Money Planner is designed with a strict "privacy-first, offline-first" architecture. We do not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share your personal or financial data with any third party.

2. Information Collection and Storage

• 100% Offline Storage: All information you enter into Money Planner—including accounts, transactions, balances, budgets, financial goals, recurring bills, and category preferences—is stored locally on your device in an isolated local database.

• No Account Registration: You do not need to create an account, log in, or provide an email address, phone number, or name to use the application.

• No Bank Connections: Money Planner does not connect to your bank accounts, credit card portals, or financial institutions.

3. Device Permissions Used

Money Planner may request the following device permissions solely to provide core offline functionality:

• Notifications / Alarms (POST_NOTIFICATIONS, SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM): Used locally on your device to trigger scheduled reminders for your recurring bills, daily expense logging, and subscription due dates. No notification data is sent over the internet.

• Biometric Authentication (USE_BIOMETRIC, USE_FINGERPRINT): Used solely to authenticate you locally on your device before unlocking the app. Your biometric credentials never leave the secure hardware of your device.

• Storage / File Export: Used only when you explicitly choose to export an encrypted backup file, CSV spreadsheet, or PDF financial statement to your device storage.

4. Backups and Security

• Any backups you generate are encrypted locally using industry-standard AES-256 encryption.

• You have sole control over where backup files are saved, transferred, or shared.

5. Third-Party Analytics and Ads

• Money Planner contains ZERO third-party analytics SDKs (no Google Analytics, no Firebase, no Facebook SDKs, no tracking pixels).

• Money Planner contains ZERO advertisements.

6. Children’s Privacy

Our application does not knowingly collect or solicit any personal information from children under the age of 13.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
