HawkApps Studio ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Money Manager mobile application (the "App"). We are dedicated to safeguarding and respecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy details how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our App.
By downloading, installing, or using Money Manager, you consent to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
2. Information We Collect
We collect only the minimum required information to provide budgeting and financial tracking services:
A. Information You Provide:
- Account Credentials: When registering, we collect your Full Name and Email Address to authenticate your account and secure your sessions.
- Financial Entries: Transaction amounts, transaction type (income or expense), dates, categories (such as Food, Bills, Salary), notes, and custom budget limits that you manually enter.
- Profile Information: Name or email details you edit via the My Account screen.
B. Local Device Storage:
- Local preferences such as your active currency symbol, app theme (Light/Dark mode), and login session tokens are saved securely on your device using local storage.
C. Information We DO NOT Collect:
- We DO NOT request or collect sensitive permissions like precise GPS Location, Camera, Microphone, Contacts, or SMS/Call Logs.
- We DO NOT collect actual debit/credit card CVV numbers or bank login credentials.
- We DO NOT collect device advertising IDs (AD_ID) for behavioral user tracking.
3. How We Use Your Information
Your data is used solely to provide and enhance core app features:
- Displaying real-time balance calculations, net income, and total expenditure.
- Generating categorized statistics, visual pie charts, and cash-flow summaries.
- Tracking monthly budget thresholds and sending in-app alerts when limits are approached.
- Creating on-device PDF transaction receipts for download and record-keeping.
- Managing user accounts and password security updates.
We NEVER sell, rent, commercialize, or trade your personal or financial records to any third-party advertisers or data brokers.
4. Guest Mode (Offline Usage)
Money Manager offers a Guest Mode that allows complete evaluation of the App without account registration:
- In Guest Mode, no personal information or financial records are transmitted to our servers.
- Displayed data consists solely of local sample mock records.
- Guest records are cleared upon signing in or clearing app cache.
5. Data Security & Storage
We implement industry-standard security safeguards to protect your data:
- All communications between the App and our backend server (https://moneymanager.flutterapis.space) occur strictly over secure TLS/HTTPS encryption. Unencrypted cleartext (HTTP) connections are blocked.
- User passwords are encrypted with standard cryptographic hashing algorithms and are never stored in plain text.
- PDF generation takes place locally on your mobile device without transmitting documents to third-party servers.
6. Third-Party Services
Money Manager relies only on standard open-source libraries for app operation (such as url_launcher for email support, printing/pdf for local receipts, and get_storage/shared_preferences for local state management). None of these libraries sell, share, or broadcast your personal data to ad networks.
7. User Data Rights & Account Deletion (Google Play Compliance)
Under Google Play policies, you maintain full control over your personal data:
- Right to Access & Edit: You can review and update your name and email anytime in My Account.
- Right to Permanent Account Deletion (In-App): You can permanently delete your account and all associated records directly from within the App by navigating to:
Settings > My Account > Delete Account
Upon confirmation, your profile, all transactions, budget plans, and historical logs are immediately and permanently erased from our database.
- Deletion via Email: You may also email hawkappofficial@gmail.com with the subject "Account Deletion Request", and our team will process your request within 48 business hours.
8. Children's Privacy
Money Manager is designed for general audiences and does not target or knowingly collect data from children under the age of 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please email us at hawkappofficial@gmail.com, and we will promptly delete it.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Any modifications will be reflected with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the App following posted changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
