Information Collection and Use
Money Manager may use Firebase services provided by Google to improve app performance and functionality.
Depending on the features used, Firebase may automatically collect certain information such as:
Device information (device model, operating system)
App usage data and screen views
Crash reports
Anonymous identifiers
This information is used solely to improve the stability, performance, and functionality of the App. No personal financial data is included in analytics or crash reports.
The App does not sell, trade, or rent user data to third parties.
Financial Data
All financial data entered by users (such as income, expenses, and notes) is stored locally on the user's device by default.
When the user chooses to use the Google Drive Backup feature, financial data may be stored on the user's personal Google Drive account. This data is only transferred when the user explicitly enables this feature.
The developer does not access or store users' financial information on external servers.
Google Account and Authentication
If the user chooses to sign in with Google to use backup features, the App collects:
Email address
Display name
Profile photo URL
This information is used solely to identify the user's account within the App and is not shared with third parties.
Google Drive Backup
When the user enables Google Drive Backup, the App requests access to the Google Drive API with the drive.file scope. This scope allows the App to create, read, and delete only the backup files it creates — the App cannot access any other files on the user's Google Drive.
Backup files are stored in a folder named "MoneyManager Backups" on the user's personal Google Drive. The user can delete these files at any time from within the App or directly from Google Drive.
If the user enables automatic backup, the App will periodically upload backup files in the background. This only occurs when explicitly enabled by the user.
Notifications
The App uses Firebase Cloud Messaging to deliver push notifications such as transaction reminders. Users can disable notifications at any time through the App settings or device system settings.
Permissions
The App requests the following device permissions:
Internet & Network State — required for Firebase services and backup features
Notifications — for transaction reminders (user can disable)
Vibrate — for haptic feedback (user can disable)
Wake Lock & Boot Completed — to deliver scheduled reminders reliably
No permissions are used to access contacts, camera, microphone, or location.
Data Retention and Deletion
Local data: Users can delete all local data at any time using the "Reset Data" option in Settings.
Google Drive backups: Users can delete backup files from within the App or directly from their Google Drive. Signing out removes the App's access to Drive.
Account deletion: Signing out of the App removes the association between the Google account and the App. No user data is retained on external servers after deletion.
Children's Privacy
This App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
Internet Usage
The App works fully offline for recording and viewing transactions. Internet access is required only for Firebase services (analytics, crash reporting) and optional backup features. No personal financial data is transmitted unless the user explicitly enables Google Drive Backup.
Third-Party Services
The App uses the following services provided by Google LLC:
Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, Cloud Messaging, Authentication, Remote Config)
Google Drive API
Firebase Remote Config is used to enable or disable app features. No personal data is used for feature targeting.
You can learn more about how Google handles data here:

Data Security
Reasonable measures are taken to protect information processed through the App. All data transfers to Firebase and Google Drive are encrypted in transit using HTTPS. Local data is stored in the app's private storage, accessible only to the App.
