This Privacy Policy explains how MoneyFlow (“the App”), developed by Impact Interactive Solutions (“we”, “us”, or “our”), handles information when you use the App and related services.
By using MoneyFlow, you acknowledge this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the App and uninstall it from your device.
MoneyFlow is a personal finance app for tracking income and expenses, managing budgets, and reviewing spending insights.
Key privacy principles:
Financial records are stored primarily on your device.
We do not run our own dedicated backend for syncing your personal finance records.
Cloud backup is optional and uses your Google Drive appDataFolder under your Google account.
The App integrates third-party services (including Google and Meta tools) that may process data under their own policies.
This web Privacy Policy complements the in-app privacy text.
You may create or store:
Transactions (amounts, dates, categories, payment methods, notes, tags)
Budgets and goals
Receipt images you choose to scan or attach
App settings and preferences (language, notifications, feature toggles)
Integrated providers may process limited technical or usage data, such as:
Device/app identifiers (for example, advertising identifiers, where available)
Device type, OS version, app version
App events, ad interactions, performance and diagnostic signals
We do not operate a separate first-party analytics server for this purpose.
By default, app data is stored locally on your device, including:
Transactions, categories, budgets, and goals
Preferences and settings
Receipt images associated with entries
Deleting app data or uninstalling the app generally removes local app data from that device, subject to your device/OS behavior.
If enabled by you:
Selected app data may be stored in your Google Drive appDataFolder
Backup/restore is initiated by you from inside the App
You can disable backup anytime and remove backups from your Google Drive account
Information is used to:
Provide core app features (tracking, budgeting, goals, receipt support)
Provide reminders/alerts you enable
Support backup/restore workflows
Support premium purchases and subscription management
Maintain and improve functionality, reliability, and user experience
Measure and optimize campaign performance (including conversion measurement)
We do not sell your personal financial records.
Used to measure feature usage, engagement, and app performance.
Used for ad delivery and ad measurement. Depending on settings, Google services may process ad-related identifiers, interaction signals, and approximate technical context.
Analytics/App event signals may be used to measure campaign conversions and improve campaign optimization.
The App uses Meta SDK for app event and conversion measurement to evaluate and improve Facebook/Instagram campaign performance.
Used to manage consent prompts and ad-personalization choices in regions where consent is legally required.
Used for subscription and purchase processing. Payment processing is handled by Google Play under Google terms/policies.
Used when you choose receipt scanning features.
Used only for optional cloud backups initiated by you.
Third-party providers process data under their own terms and privacy policies.
In regions where required, the App may display consent choices for ad personalization and measurement.
You may see an in-app option such as “Ad Personalization” where legally required.
If consent is not granted (or is restricted), ad-related data usage is limited according to applicable settings, legal requirements, and platform capabilities.
Depending on feature use and OS version, the App may request:
Camera
Photos/Storage access
Network/Internet
Notifications
Permissions are used only for related app functionality.
You can revoke permissions in system settings, but some features may not work fully afterward.
Local data: retained until removed by you (or app uninstall / OS behavior).
Backups: retained until removed by you from local storage or Google Drive.
Third-party retention: governed by each provider’s own policy and retention practices.
Within the App, you can:
Add/edit/delete transactions, budgets, and goals
Delete receipt images
Enable/disable cloud backup
Manage permissions in device settings
Manage purchases through Google Play
Manage ad personalization choices where legally required
Depending on your jurisdiction, additional privacy rights may apply.
MoneyFlow is not directed to children under the minimum age required by applicable law in their jurisdiction.
If you believe a child submitted personal information, contact us.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards.
However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is fully secure, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
You are responsible for securing:
Your device access
Your Google account
Your backup destinations
Because the App uses global third-party providers, data may be processed in countries other than your own, according to those providers’ legal and policy frameworks.
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect feature changes, legal updates, or operational needs.
We will update the “Last updated” date when changes are made and may provide additional notice inside the App where appropriate.
Continued use of the App after updates means acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
MoneyFlow is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis.
While we strive to provide a reliable experience, we do not guarantee that:
the App will always be available,
uninterrupted,
error-free,
or compatible with all devices or services.
Certain features may depend on third-party services, platform availability, or internet connectivity.
We are not obligated to provide maintenance, technical support, bug fixes, feature updates, or continued availability of any specific feature.
Use of the App is at your own discretion and risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Impact Interactive Solutions and the developers of MoneyFlow shall not be liable for:
loss of data,
financial losses,
loss of profits,
business interruption,
device issues,
or any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of the App or related services.
Users are responsible for reviewing and verifying their financial records and backups.
