PART 1: PRIVACY POLICY

1. Introduction

Welcome to MoneyFlow ("the App", "we", "us", or "our"), designed, developed, and published by Impact Interactive ("the Developer"). MoneyFlow is an offline-first personal finance and expense-tracking utility. We are committed to absolute transparency and user privacy. This Privacy Policy explains our data handling practices across local storage, device permissions, third-party integrations, and user rights.

2. Information We Process & Data Architecture

MoneyFlow is architected with a privacy-first, offline design:

• Financial Records (Stored Locally): All income, expense entries, amounts, dates, accounts, budgets, notes, and custom categories are saved locally on your device in a private SQLite Room database sandbox. We do not operate external proprietary servers to collect, harvest, monitor, or synchronize your financial logs.

• Receipt Scanning & Attachments: Images captured or selected for receipt tracking are processed locally on your device. Receipt text recognition (OCR) runs entirely on-device via Google ML Kit. We do not upload, transmit, or inspect your receipt photos.

• Optional Cloud Backup: Cloud backup is entirely optional and operates via your personal Google Drive account using Google's private appDataFolder. We never receive, store, or access your Google login credentials or backup files.

• In-App Purchases & Subscriptions: Premium upgrades and subscriptions are processed directly through Google Play Billing. Impact Interactive does not collect or store your payment card or banking details.

• Diagnostic & Performance Data: We may collect aggregated, non-personally identifiable crash reports and diagnostic metrics via Google Firebase to troubleshoot bugs and improve stability.

• Advertising Services: The free version of the App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may process anonymous device identifiers and contextual signals in accordance with your consent preferences.

3. Android Device Permissions Requested

MoneyFlow requests only permissions strictly necessary for its features:

• android.permission.CAMERA: Used exclusively when you choose to photograph paper receipts directly inside the App for on-device OCR or visual record-keeping.

• android.permission.READ_MEDIA_IMAGES / READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE: Enables you to attach existing receipt images from your photo gallery or save exported financial reports (CSV/PDF) locally.

• android.permission.POST_NOTIFICATIONS: Required on Android 13 (API level 33) and above to deliver scheduled expense reminders, recurring payment notices, or budget threshold alerts configured by you.

• android.permission.USE_BIOMETRIC: Enables optional biometric fingerprint/face authentication to lock the App. Biometric verification is handled entirely by Android's secure hardware; the App only receives a verification confirmation.

• android.permission.INTERNET & android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Used exclusively to process Google Play Billing verifications, deliver AdMob ads, and sync backups to your personal Google Drive account.

• com.android.vending.BILLING: Enables seamless and secure in-app purchases and subscription management via Google Play.

4. On-Device Receipt Processing (Google ML Kit)

When using the receipt scanner, character recognition is performed on-device by Google ML Kit libraries. Your receipt images, merchant names, line items, and monetary totals remain within your device's local memory and are never transmitted to our servers or third-party analysis services.

5. Cloud Backup & Google Drive Security

If you choose to activate Google Drive backup:

• Backups are uploaded directly from your device to your personal Google Drive into a private, hidden folder (appDataFolder) designated specifically for MoneyFlow.

• The Developer has no access to your Google account, password, drive files, or financial records.

• You can delete your backups at any time through your Google account security and third-party app management settings.

6. Data Retention, Sharing, and Deletion

• No Sale of Personal Data: We do not sell, rent, monetize, or trade your personal or financial data to any third parties.

• Data Deletion: Because your records reside locally on your device, you have complete control. You can delete individual transactions, reset categories, or wipe all app data via Android System Settings.

• App Deletion Notice: Uninstalling MoneyFlow permanently erases your locally stored database unless you have created an external export or Google Drive backup.

• No Mandatory Account: MoneyFlow functions completely without requiring user accounts, passwords, or mandatory email registration.

7. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

MoneyFlow is a personal finance tool directed to general audiences and is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

PART 2: TERMS OF USE & END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT (EULA)

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using MoneyFlow, you agree to be legally bound by all terms, conditions, and notices contained herein. If you do not agree to these Terms in their entirety, you must not install or use the App, and you must immediately uninstall and delete all copies from your devices.

2. Description of Utility & Disclaimer of Professional Financial Advice

MoneyFlow is designed strictly as a self-service, informational, and educational record-keeping tool for personal budgeting.

IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER:

MONEYFLOW IS NOT A BANK, REGISTERED INVESTMENT ADVISOR, BROKER-DEALER, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER (CFP), CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANT (CPA), OR TAX PREPARER.

Nothing contained in the App, its charts, calculations, budget alerts, or summaries constitutes professional financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. You are solely and exclusively responsible for your financial decisions, spending, budget allocations, investments, and tax filings.

The Developer disclaims all liability for overdraft fees, bank penalties, tax audit discrepancies, investment losses, or mathematical calculation errors resulting from your use of the App. You are advised to independently verify all numbers and calculations before making financial commitments.

3. Limited License Grant & Restrictions

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Impact Interactive ("the Developer") grants you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to use MoneyFlow solely for your personal, non-commercial financial record-keeping.

You expressly agree not to decompile, reverse engineer, modify, disassemble, resell, distribute, hack, or attempt to derive the source code of the App or any part thereof.

4. Intellectual Property Rights

All title, ownership rights, and intellectual property rights in and to the App—including software code, database architecture, algorithms, design layouts, graphics, icons, and logos—are the exclusive property of Impact Interactive.

5. "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" Disclaimer — No Maintenance Obligation

MONEYFLOW IS PROVIDED TO YOU STRICTLY ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITH ALL FAULTS AND DEFECTS, WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IMPACT INTERACTIVE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT MONEYFLOW WILL BE ERROR-FREE, CONTINUOUSLY ACCURATE, UNINTERRUPTED, COMPATIBLE WITH ALL HARDWARE OR FUTURE ANDROID VERSIONS, OR THAT OCR RECEIPT SCANNING WILL BE ACCURATE UNDER ALL CIRCUMSTANCES.

NO OBLIGATION TO MAINTAIN OR SUPPORT:

Impact Interactive has no obligation whatsoever to provide customer support, technical assistance, bug fixes, updates, patches, or continued maintenance for MoneyFlow. Any updates released in the future are provided purely at our sole discretion.

6. Limitation of Liability & Exclusive Remedy

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE DEVELOPER (IMPACT INTERACTIVE), ITS CREATOR, OR CONTRIBUTORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES WHATSOEVER (INCLUDING LOSS OF SAVINGS, LOST PROFITS, FINANCIAL LOSSES, BANKING FEES, TAX PENALTIES, DATA LOSS, CORRUPTED BACKUPS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION).

EXCLUSIVE REMEDY:

YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY FOR ANY DISSATISFACTION, DISPUTE, DATA LOSS, CALCULATION INACCURACY, OR ALLEGED DEFECT IS TO STOP USING AND UNINSTALL THE APP AND, IF APPLICABLE, SEEK A REFUND EXCLUSIVELY VIA GOOGLE PLAY IN ACCORDANCE WITH GOOGLE PLAY'S OFFICIAL REFUND POLICIES. IN NO EVENT SHALL IMPACT INTERACTIVE'S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS EXCEED THE AMOUNT ACTUALLY PAID BY YOU TO GOOGLE PLAY FOR THE APP DURING THE THIRTY (30) DAYS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING YOUR CLAIM, OR ZERO US DOLLARS ($0.00) IF YOU HAVE NOT MADE ANY PURCHASES.

7. Prohibition of Class Actions (Class Action Waiver)

MANDATORY INDIVIDUAL ARBITRATION & CLASS ACTION WAIVER:

YOU AND IMPACT INTERACTIVE AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN AN INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS, COLLECTIVE, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING.

Under no circumstances shall any court or arbitrator consolidate or join the claims of more than one individual, nor preside over any form of representative, class, or collective proceeding against Impact Interactive.

8. In-App Purchases, Premium Subscriptions, and Refund Policy

• Billing Authority: All financial transactions, subscriptions, and lifetime unlocks are processed exclusively through Google Play. We never collect, manage, or store your payment details.

• Auto-Renewal & Cancellation: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period via your Google Play account settings. Uninstalling the App does not automatically cancel an active subscription.

• Refund Policy: All sales are final. The Developer does not process direct cash refunds. Any refund requests must be submitted directly through Google Play and are governed by Google Play's official refund policies.

9. Third-Party Advertisements

The free version is supported by Google AdMob. Impact Interactive does not endorse, control, or assume responsibility for any third-party products, services, or websites advertised.

10. Severability & Entire Agreement

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms will otherwise remain in full force and effect. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Impact Interactive regarding MoneyFlow.

11. Termination

Your license terminates automatically if you fail to comply with these Terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the App and delete all copies.
