Zoe Taylor is a Chartered Financial Adviser and Fellow of the Personal Finance Society (FPFS), specialising in financial planning for vulnerable clients and complex decision-making scenarios.
She was awarded a distinction for her Master’s degree in Finance, where her research examined how the complexity of the long-term care process can impair decision-making. She also exposed potential weaknesses in attorney training, conflicts of interest, and safeguards designed to protect individuals at their most vulnerable.
This work sparked a deeper interest in behavioural finance, leading Zoe to speak with professionals across finance, law, and safeguarding - uncovering real-world cases of financial abuse, fraud, and misconduct, and exploring why these crimes succeed. She has been featured in Investors' Chronicle, FT Adviser, iNews, and Money Marketing, plus was also named as one of CityWire's top 35 next generation advisers in the UK in 2024, plus has spoken at many events across the UK.
Through her work and her podcast, Money Crimes & Human Minds, Zoe explores how bias, trust, emotion, and authority intersect in both financial advice and financial crime with one goal: to help people recognise risk earlier and avoid falling victim to the same mistakes and manipulations.
