Financial Topic Resource Zones

We are excited to share all of our amazing community resources around financial action with you! There will be zones of resources to visit including topics around home ownership, financial goals, credit building, and banking. Explore the resources through a scavenger hunt for your child to earn a prize!

One-on-One Financial Support

Meet with a financial planner to review your credit, ask questions about budgeting, life insurance, or other topics! You can also receive assistance applying for a bank account.

Family Fun!

Today is also about having fun with your family! Check out the different kid stations like face painting, games and crafts, DJ dancing, and help your kid finish a scavenger hunt with a prize at the end!

DJ Ola will be providing some fun music throughout the day!

Keshawn's Characters will have face painting all day!

Resource Fair!

We are excited to have partners from across the Metro who offer great services participate in this event to share resources with you on this day! Participating partners will include: Exodus Lending; CLUES, Prepare + Prosper, Head Start, Ramsey County Child & Teen Check-ups, CAPRW, Think Small. African American Babies Coalition, Bremer Bank, Neighborhood Development Alliance, and more!

African American Babies Coalition will be present and handing out baby bags to anyone who has a child under 6 months!

Free food will be provided!

We will have free food from Sambusa Express and Brick Oven!

Raffle!

Participants will have a change to participate in a raffle for prizes by engaging in various activities throughout the day.
