This Privacy Policy explains how Haller Apps ("Money & Budget Tracker", "we", "us" or "our") collects, uses, stores and discloses information when you use the Money & Budget Tracker mobile application, marketed under the Moneira brand (the "App").
1. DATA CONTROLLER AND CONTACT
The data controller for the App is:
Haller Apps
Privacy contact: hallerappsinfo@gmail.com
If you have a question, request or complaint about this Privacy Policy or our handling of personal data, contact us at the privacy address above.
2. INFORMATION WE PROCESS
2.1 Information you enter or create in the App
Depending on the features you use, Money & Budget Tracker may process income and expense amounts, currency, date, merchant, category and notes; subscription names, amounts, billing cycles, renewal dates and statuses; budget limits, payment method names and personal debt or commitment information; reports, exports and other information you choose to create in the App.
These records are stored locally on your device in the App's local database. Money & Budget Tracker does not require a bank login and does not request card numbers, bank credentials, card limits or account balances to provide its manual tracking features.
2.2 Notification data used for automatic expense capture
If you voluntarily enable Android notification access, the App reads notifications available to the notification listener service in order to identify eligible transaction notifications. The App parses relevant information such as merchant and amount and can save the resulting expense record. The raw notification text may also be stored with that local expense record so that you can review or edit it.
Notification access is optional. You can disable it at any time from Android system settings. Money & Budget Tracker does not use notification access to read messages or contacts, and it does not sell notification data.
2.3 Receipt and bill images
If you choose to scan a bill or receipt, the App accesses the image selected from your gallery or captured with your camera. Text recognition is performed on the device using the App's OCR component. The recognized merchant, amount candidates and source text may be saved as part of the expense record when you confirm the scan.
2.4 Device and technical information
The App and its service providers may process technical information needed to operate, secure and improve the App, such as app version, operating system version, device and installation identifiers, diagnostic information, crash information and basic usage events. We do not use this information to request or infer your bank credentials.
2.5 Purchase and subscription information
When you view, purchase or restore a Premium subscription, the App and its payment providers process information required to display offerings, complete the transaction, restore entitlements and determine whether Premium access is active. Money & Budget Tracker receives subscription and entitlement results from the relevant provider; payment card details are handled by the applicable app store or payment provider.
3. HOW WE USE INFORMATION
We use information to provide expense, income, budget, subscription, cash flow, analytics and coaching features; capture and categorize eligible transactions when you enable notification access; scan receipts and bills when you request that feature; calculate trends, recurring costs, upcoming payments, budget status and financial insights; provide reminders, notifications, exports and customer support; process purchases, restore subscriptions, prevent fraud and manage Premium access; understand product usage, diagnose crashes, improve reliability and evaluate the performance of the App; comply with legal obligations, enforce our Terms of Use and protect the rights, safety and security of users and the App.
We do not sell your financial records, notification contents or receipt contents.
4. ON DEVICE PROCESSING AND SERVICE PROVIDERS
Several core features are designed to work locally on your device. This includes the local storage of finance records, notification parsing and receipt text recognition. However, the App also uses service providers for specific operational purposes, including Google Firebase Analytics for product and subscription funnel events; Google Firebase Crashlytics for crash and diagnostic reporting, if enabled in the production configuration; Google Firebase Remote Config for controlled App configuration; RevenueCat and the applicable app store for subscription offerings, purchases, entitlement status and restoration; and Google Play or other distribution providers for app delivery and payment processing.
These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies and only for the services they provide to us. We do not authorize service providers to use your financial records for their own advertising or to sell them.
5. LEGAL BASES FOR PROCESSING
Where data protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on one or more of the following: performance of the agreement needed to provide features you request; your consent, including when you enable notification access or grant camera or media permissions; our legitimate interests in securing, maintaining, improving and measuring the App, balanced against your rights; and compliance with a legal obligation.
You may withdraw consent for an optional permission by disabling the permission in Android settings. Withdrawal does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal.
6. DATA RETENTION AND DELETION
Local finance records remain on your device until you delete them, clear the App's data, uninstall the App or otherwise use an in App deletion feature if one is provided. Notification access and camera or media permissions can be withdrawn at any time.
We retain service provider records only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including security, accounting, dispute resolution and legal compliance. Retention periods may differ by provider and legal requirement.
To request deletion of information held by Haller Apps or to ask how to delete local App data, contact hallerappsinfo@gmail.com. If the App later provides an account, account deletion requests will be handled through the method described in the App and will include deletion of associated account data, subject to lawful retention requirements.
7. SECURITY
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information, including local platform storage, access controls and service provider security controls. No electronic storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You are responsible for securing your device and keeping its operating system protected.
8. INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS
Service providers may process information in countries outside your country of residence. Where required, we use legally recognized transfer mechanisms and appropriate safeguards. Details may be obtained by contacting hallerappsinfo@gmail.com.
9. YOUR RIGHTS
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, receive a portable copy of certain information, withdraw consent and lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. To exercise a right, contact hallerappsinfo@gmail.com. We may need to verify your request and may apply lawful exceptions.
10. CHILDREN
The App is not directed to children and is not intended for use by persons under the minimum age required by applicable law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so that we can take appropriate action.
11. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will publish the revised version through the App or the linked policy page and update the Last updated date. Your continued use of the App after an update means that the revised Policy applies to the extent permitted by law.
