Empowering youth through restorative justice. Teen Court offers first-time youth offenders an opportunity to take responsibility for their actions, learn from their mistakes, and make amends — without entering the formal juvenile justice system.
Teen Court is a diversion program where trained teen volunteers serve as attorneys, jurors, bailiffs, and clerks in real-life hearings for their peers. Offenders who successfully complete the program avoid a juvenile record.
Who It's For:
Ages 11–17
First-time, non-violent offenders
Referred by schools, police, or juvenile justice authorities

Volunteer Training
Teens don't have to be in trouble to be involved. Teen Court relies on volunteers to serve as jurors and attorneys in real cases!
Vaping Prevention Program
Clearing The Air is a supportive program for teens who have vaped, focused on real facts, self-reflection, and building healthier ways to cope — without judgment.
Substance Abuse Awareness Program
“Choices Matter” is a Teen Court program that educates teens and families on the risks of substance abuse, helps identify warning signs, and promotes healthier futures through mentorship and restorative justice.
Mental Health Awareness Program
This program helps destigmatize mental health struggles among teens by taking a personal approach while promoting emotional regulation through healthy habits like mindful breathing, reading, creative expression, and managing boredom.
Truancy Prevention Program
Step In is a Teen Court-led program that helps high school students in Morgantown improve attendance through mentorship, workshops, and incentives—giving students a second chance and a path forward.
Dropout Prevention Program
The Dropout Prevention and Engagement Initiative offers weekly in-person support to help students stay motivated, set goals, and build positive habits. Through group activities, discussions, and encouragement, the program empowers students to stay on track and celebrate their progress.
