Monart drawing & mixed media day camps are a great way for kids ages 6-8 & 9-12 to get creative over summer break! Kids will learn how to draw realistically through several summer-themed art projects, exploring a variety of subjects and working with various art materials. Neighboring music, craft, yoga & improv camps are available in our building for full-day coverage!
SR STUDIO CAMPS: AGES 9-12 / 9AM-12PM / MON-FRI / $300 per week ($270 before 4/1)
A 3-hour (per day) art camp designed to challenge this age group and help bring them to a new drawing skill level. These camps will incorporate a variety of drawing techniques and art mediums.
JR STUDIO CAMPS: AGES 6-8 / 1PM-3PM / MON-FRI / $200 per week ($180 before 4/1)
A 2-hour (per day) art camp where students will learn drawing fundamentals and explore a variety of art materials. A perfect environment for little artists to develop confidence, focus and fine-motor skills.
CAMP SCHEDULE:
WEEK 1: "MIXED MEDIA" - June 10 - 14 --> REGISTER
We'll experiment with several different art mediums, combining them into beautiful works of art! (ex: oil pastel, graphite, graphic marker, water color, colored pencil, collage & more.)
WEEK 2: "AMAZING ANIMALS" - June 17 - 21 --> REGISTER
We'll explore a variety of wild, exotic and endangered animals in their natural habitats using graphic markers, oil pastels, colored pencils, and more! It's guaranteed to be a roaring good time!
WEEK 3: "OCEANS OF FUN" - June 24 - 28 --> REGISTER
An aquatic adventure where we explore the depths of the ocean through drawing! We will focus ocean habitats and the amazing creatures that live there. A variety of art mediums will be used.
WEEK 4: "CARTOON DRAWING" - July 1 - 5 --> REGISTER
In this camp we'll learn how to draw our own cartoons! We'll look at movies, TV and comics as examples of cartoon style and proportion. Various media and techniques will be used. * (Closed 4th of July - Pro-Rated)
WEEK 5: "FANTASY & FICTION" - July 8 - 12 --> REGISTER
In this camp we'll bring legends and myths to life through drawing! We'll learn to draw several enduring characters from popular literature and film. A variety of art mediums will be used.
WEEK 6: "MIXED MEDIA" - July 15 - 19 --> REGISTER
(Same as Mixed Media 1, but with ALL NEW lesson plans).
WEEK 7: "AMAZING ANIMALS" - July 22 - 26 --> REGISTER
(Same as Amazing Animals 1, but with ALL NEW lesson plans).
WEEK 8: "OCEANS OF FUN" - July 29 - Aug 2 --> REGISTER
(Same as Oceans of Fun 1, but with ALL NEW lesson plans).
WEEK 9: "CARTOON DRAWING" - August 5 - 9 --> REGISTER
(Same as Cartoon Drawing 1, but with ALL NEW lesson plans).

NO NEED TO SHOW UP TOO EARLY: Arrive approx. 5-10 minutes before your child’s camp starts and have them go to the restroom and thoroughly wash their hands.
PLEASE HAVE YOUR CHILD BRING THEIR OWN WATER AND SNACK, TO BE PLACED IN A CUBBY: Students are not allowed to share snacks or use public drinking fountains or office water coolers.
ALL SURFACES IN OUR STUDIO ARE CLEANED AND SANITIZED ROUTINELY FOR THE HEALTH AND SAFETY OF OUR STUDENTS.
