Workshops

We offer a permanent selection of more than 30 workshops inspired by Mexican culture. The themes vary throughout the year depending on the season and the topic. Some examples include:

• Frida Kahlo and her Oaxaca roots

• Mexican sports: lucha libre, the pre-Hispanic ball game, and charrería

• Huichol art and the graphic design of the Mexico 68 Olympics

• Día de los Muertos workshops

• Christmas in Mexico: piñatas and traditions

Each theme includes three workshop levels, ranging from basic drawing activities to complex 3D sculptures. Our workshops are designed for both children and adults, giving everyone the opportunity to learn something new and take a piece of Mexico home.

All workshops include an introductory presentation that provides historical context, cultural background, and visual examples
