Privacy Policy for MONARCH Habit Tracker
Last updated: September 14, 2026
BHLabs built the MONARCH Habit Tracker app as an Ad-supported and offline-first productivity tool. This SERVICE is provided by BHLabs at no cost and is intended for use as is.
This page is used to inform users regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decides to use our Service.
1. Information Collection and Use
MONARCH is designed with an offline-first philosophy. Your personal habits, daily completions, streak records, notes, and progress metrics are stored locally on your device. We do not store your private habit tracking records on external servers.
However, to maintain and optimize the app, MONARCH uses third-party services and optional anonymous analytics synchronization:
- Anonymous App Analytics: The app may transmit anonymous usage data (e.g., app version, session duration, general feature usage counters, streak milestones, and anonymous install IDs) to our secure backend to monitor stability, errors, and feature performance.
- Google Mobile Ads (AdMob): The app displays advertisements provided by AdMob. AdMob may automatically collect and process certain device data, advertising identifiers (such as Android Advertising ID), and crash reports to deliver targeted and non-targeted ads in compliance with Google policies.
2. Third-Party Service Providers
The app does employ third-party companies and services that may collect information used to identify your device or analyze performance:
- Google Play Services
- Google AdMob (Advertising)
- Google Analytics / Backend Script Endpoints
To review the privacy policies of these third-party services:
- Google Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
3. Log Data and Crash Analytics
In a case of an error or crash in the app, we may collect data and information on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device model, operating system version, app configuration at the time of error, time and date of the event, and other basic diagnostics.
4. Data Security
We value your trust in providing us with diagnostic information and keeping your habit records. While habit data is kept securely on your local device storage, remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable.
5. Children’s Privacy
These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided personal data, we immediately delete this from our systems.
