Hi, I'm James the creator behind Monarch.

I grew up drawing because I wanted to turn emotions, memories, and ideas into something people could actually see.

Since then, my work has grown from sketchbooks and fashion illustration into original characters, anime-inspired storytelling, digital illustration, branding, and commissioned artwork.

Monarch is more than an art page. It's a long-term creative universe I'm building one drawing at a time.

Whether I'm sketching in a café, studying another artist, creating fan art, or developing original characters like Rin and Kairoh, every project is another chapter in that journey.

My goal isn't simply to make beautiful pictures.

It's to create artwork that people connect with emotionally—and to build a world they're excited to return to.
