I am a person shaped by courage and determination. I was born in the Philippines into a life of poverty—we weren't wealthy, and we didn’t have a big house or a car. Our life was very simple. I am an only child and have no siblings. Growing up, I lived in a place where no one spoke English, which made this job a challenge for me.
