I’m a proud married mom of two and “Yoya”  to two fierce and fun girls who’ve clearly inherited our family’s competitive spirit. My daughter played softball and high school lacrosse, and my son—a former All-American—played four years of football at Wake Forest on an athletic scholarship before transferring to Syracuse with an academic scholarship. I’ve been right alongside him through every step of his athletic journey, from traveling to camps and college visits to catching nearly every game across state lines.

Though I wasn’t a traditional athlete myself (unless you count that prized hurdles ribbon I won at age 10!), I was an award-winning ballet dancer and dance teacher. That foundation in movement gave me a unique eye for technique, which came in handy as I supported my kids through their sports careers.

Now, I get to cheer on my granddaughters as they balance lacrosse and competitive cheer. When I’m not in the stands, I’m connecting with people through my work—whether it’s in book sales, medical sales, or even festive holiday decor. I genuinely enjoy building friendships wherever life takes me.

My happy place? Laughing with friends over great food, soaking up the Florida sunshine, diving into a new book (even if I don’t always finish).
