There are so many hands that go into making our chapter as wonderful as it is, and operate successfully. (That's what makes it "By Moms, For Moms!"). All of the moms listed below are volunteering in their roles to donate their time, energy, and talents!
2025-2026 Executive Board
The following positions are in a 1 year term from July 1 - June 30th of the following year, and are positions held following a nomination/election process outlined in the MOMS Club Manual. These are weightier roles within the chapter. Members may be both a Board Member and in an Appointed Position before/during/after their term as a Board Member (We have 2 in such double-roles at this time!).
President
Presides over the club, acts as liason with other organizations and the community; acts as liason between local MOMS Club Community and MOMS. Club International.
She leads business meetings and brings an overall voice of balance to the chapter; mediates conflicts as necessary; point of contact for majority of coordinators and works directly with each of the other 4 executive board positions.
Admin VP
Assists President with any duties needed; Assume role of acting President in the case that current President is unable
With assistance from Charity Committee: (1) Outreach to community entities to create experiences for members, (2) Oversee Annual Service Project serving moms/children in the area and additional service projects as desired
Membership VP
Promotes membership in the group; point of communication for potential members, maintains member roster/directory.
With assistance from Membership Committee: (1) fosters member communication, (2) publicizes the MOMS Club® of SWLV within the community in coordination with President, (3) Hospitality giving special touch at larger events
Secretary
She guides business of the chapter as she prepares agends reflecting all needed discussion items and creates and shares minutes to keep the membership body informed; She also creates the monthly calendar and helps balance out the board with additional voice and perspective.
Treasurer
She oversees chapter financial accounts and ensures money is collected and spent in accordance to federal and MOMS Club International guidelines to meet our mission as a non-profit and support our moms; Collects dues & provides receipts and reimbursements as appropriate.
Appointed Positions
The following positions are not given a term. Members in these roles have shown a continued interest and a strength in that area prior to stepping into the defined leadership role, and will serve as long as they are both interested and able (No term length). Thank you, ladies!
Charity Coordinator
Reports to: Admin VP
She will guide selection of service projects and collaborate with Admin VP and other members in the committee to bring projects to completion, along with any fundraising to directly support the charity projects as a chapter.
MNO Coordinator
Reports to: Secretary
She will gather ideas from chapter membership to create an MNO Idea Bank, and select one fun Moms Night Out each month! She may choose to host herself, or another member may choose to host!
JUMP Coordinator
Reports to: President
JUMP --> "Just Us Moms Playgroup". She will create (at least) one event per month geared specifically for the moms who are in the phase of motherhood who have school age children! Coffee, brunch, a walk, etc. She may choose to host herself, or another member may choose to host.
Hoot & Howl Coordinator
Reports to: President
She will be encouraging support among members who have partners who works or are away nights and/or weekends. She helps create extra support for those moms who may be "mom"ming solo outside of the usual SAHM daytime hours.
Party Coordinator
Reports to: Membership VP
She helps plan fun parties throughout the year! She may recruit additional committee members to help put it all together, and/or put up a sign up genius to help get all hands on deck.
Publicity Coordinator (Including but Not Limited To:)
Newsletter Coordinator
Reports to: Membership VP (Part of Membership Committee)
She creates and shares out a monthly newsletter to communicate highlights of the last month, what's coming up in the month ahead, and some fun rotating sections like trivia!
Social Media & Website Manager
Reports to: Membership VP (Part of Membership Committee)
She updates social media to promote upcoming events, and share community collaborations, weekly schedule, monthly birthdays, monthly recaps, stories, and reels for the fun events we do... to name a few things! She also maintains and updates the website!
Book Club Coordinator
Reports to: President
She leads book selection and ensures that we continue to have a wonderful relaxed book club for moms once a month. She may choose to host herself, or another member may choose to host!
Mom to Mom Care Coordinator
Reports to: Treasurer
Hand in hand with Treasurer as liason to the Executive Board, she will encourage members to come together to support each other during more targeted times of need. Most often, she will coordinate support (basket or meal train) for moms welcoming a new infant, however, she is also there to organize support in cases of loss or other less celebratory major life events.
Arts & Crafts Coordinator
Reports to: President
She coordinates events (at least) 2 times a months that includes a hands on activity - often with additional time to play! She may choose to host, or another member may host!
Hiking Coordinator
Reports to: President
She coordinates events (at least) 2 times a months for moms to take a hike - occassionally with a field trip to a cool trail! She may choose to host, or another member may host!
Playgroup Coordinator
Reports to: Membership VP
She coordinates playgroups (at least) 2 times a months for moms to relax in a more welcoming and intimate environment while the kids play. Playgroups are held in members homes, so she'll also be supporting hosts, new and seasoned, as needed. Playgroup may be inside, outside, water-related or messy, etc. She may choose to host, or another member may host!
