This Privacy Policy ("Policy") explains how jacksonSuperNova ("we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, stores, shares, and otherwise processes information in connection with the MomoReels mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service"). It also explains the choices and rights that may be available to you.
Please read this Policy carefully. By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy. Where applicable law requires consent, we will request it separately before carrying out the relevant processing.
This Policy applies to information processed through MomoReels. It does not govern third-party websites, applications, advertisements, payment services, or other services that have their own privacy policies. If a separate notice is presented for a specific feature, that notice supplements this Policy.
The information we collect depends on the features you use, your device settings, your region, and the version of the App. We may collect the following categories of information.
· Account and profile information. If you create an account or sign in, we may collect your email address, display name, profile image, account identifier, sign-in provider, and related account information.
· Support and communications. We collect information you provide when you contact us, report a problem, submit feedback, or make a privacy request.
· Reward and redemption information. If reward, redemption, exchange, or payout features are available in your region, we may collect reward balances, task and eligibility records, redemption requests, transaction status, and the payment destination or verification information you choose to provide. We use this information to operate the feature, prevent fraud, and comply with applicable legal obligations.
· content and episodes viewed, playback progress, watch history, favorites, searches, recommendations, and downloads or caching activity;
· features accessed, buttons selected, advertisements viewed or clicked, and reward-related actions;
· session duration, frequency of use, referring source, App events, and general interaction patterns;
· crash logs, performance information, error reports, and diagnostic data.
· device type, model, brand, manufacturer, operating system, operating-system version, language, region, screen resolution, memory, CPU, and general hardware characteristics;
· App package name, App version, installation source and time, system time, startup time, and country or region code;
· network type, mobile network operator, connection status, Internet Protocol (IP) address, and approximate location inferred from IP address;
· advertising identifiers, such as Google Advertising ID or other Android advertising identifiers, IDFA or IDFV where applicable, App instance identifiers, and other resettable or platform-provided identifiers, subject to device settings and applicable law.
MomoReels does not require precise GPS location for its core short-drama functionality. Advertising or analytics providers may infer an approximate location from an IP address or network information. If a feature ever requires precise location, we will provide an additional notice and request permission where required.
If you choose to download or cache episodes, the App may use an Android foreground service and display a persistent notification showing download progress. We may process the download status, episode identifier, progress, errors, and whether notifications are enabled. On supported Android versions, the App requests notification permission before displaying notifications. You can manage notification permissions in your device settings.
We may use information for the following purposes:
· provide, operate, maintain, and support MomoReels;
· remember playback progress, favorites, preferences, and account settings;
· personalize recommendations and improve the viewing experience;
· provide downloads, caching, notifications, rewards, and other requested features;
· deliver, measure, limit, and improve advertisements, including personalized ads where permitted and consented to;
· analyze performance, diagnose errors, conduct research, and develop or improve features;
· verify activity, detect invalid traffic, and prevent fraud, cheating, spam, abuse, malware, and security incidents;
· respond to support requests, privacy requests, and other communications;
· comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms, policies, and rights.
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on one or more of the following: performance of a contract or steps requested by you; your consent; our legitimate interests in operating, securing, analyzing, and improving the Service; and compliance with legal obligations. When we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time, without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal.
MomoReels may use third-party software development kits (SDKs) and services for advertising mediation, ad delivery, attribution, analytics, crash reporting, fraud prevention, cloud infrastructure, and performance monitoring. Depending on the SDK, your region, and your consent choices, these providers may receive device information, IP address, approximate location, advertising identifiers, App activity, diagnostic data, and ad interaction data.
Some providers may process information as our service providers, while others may act as independent controllers under their own privacy policies. Not every provider is enabled in every App version or country. The providers that may be used include:

You can limit ad personalization through the consent choices presented in the App, where available, and through your device's advertising settings. You may still receive non-personalized or contextual advertisements after opting out of personalized advertising.
To protect users, advertisers, and reward mechanisms, we may use Digital Union or other fraud-prevention and risk-control providers. These providers may process App package name, installation time and source, App version, device model and brand, operating-system information, CPU, memory, screen resolution, startup time, system time, country or region code, IP address, network information, App identifiers, advertising identifiers where permitted, and reward or advertising activity signals.
This information is used to detect invalid traffic, automated activity, device manipulation, duplicate or abusive accounts, cheating, security threats, and violations of App rules. We do not use anti-fraud information for unrelated purposes.
We may share information with the following categories of recipients:
· Service providers. Vendors that provide hosting, cloud infrastructure, customer support, analytics, attribution, diagnostics, fraud prevention, payment processing, and other operational services.
· Advertising partners. Advertising networks, exchanges, mediation platforms, and measurement providers that deliver and measure ads, subject to applicable consent and privacy choices.
· Payment or redemption providers. If a reward redemption or payout feature is offered, payment providers may receive the information necessary to process and verify the transaction.
· Affiliates. Companies under common ownership or control for legitimate operational, security, and administrative purposes.
· Legal and safety recipients. Authorities, regulators, courts, professional advisers, or other parties where disclosure is required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, property, users, or the Service.
· Business transaction recipients. Parties involved in a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, asset sale, or similar transaction, subject to applicable law and appropriate safeguards.
We do not sell personal information for money. However, certain disclosures for interest-based advertising may be considered a "sale," "sharing," or targeted advertising under some U.S. state privacy laws. Where required, we provide a method to opt out through consent controls, device settings, or by contacting us.
We and our service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. These countries may have different data-protection laws. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers, such as contractual protections, consent, adequacy decisions, or other lawful transfer mechanisms.
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including to provide the Service, maintain account and transaction records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary based on the type of information, the feature involved, legal requirements, and security needs.
· Account and profile data is generally retained while your account remains active and until deletion is requested, subject to legal exceptions.
· Playback, usage, diagnostic, advertising, and attribution data is retained for the period needed for product operation, measurement, security, and reporting, and may also be subject to the applicable provider's retention schedule.
· Reward, redemption, payment, fraud-prevention, and dispute records may be retained for longer where necessary for accounting, tax, legal, security, or enforcement purposes.
· Backup copies may remain for a limited period before being overwritten or securely deleted.
When information is no longer needed, we delete, anonymize, aggregate, or securely dispose of it. If deletion is not immediately possible, we restrict further processing until deletion is possible, unless continued processing is required by law.
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against accidental or unlawful loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Measures may include encryption in transit, access controls, network protections, monitoring, logging, and restrictions on employee and vendor access. No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to confirm whether we process your information; access it; correct inaccurate or incomplete information; delete it; restrict or object to processing; withdraw consent; request portability; opt out of targeted advertising or certain data sharing; and lodge a complaint with a data-protection authority.
You may manage certain choices through the App and your device settings, including notification permissions and advertising settings. To exercise a privacy right or request deletion of your account and associated personal information, use the account-deletion option in the App, where available, or contact us at jacksonlam2023@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. We may deny or limit a request where permitted by law and will explain the reason where required.
For users in Brazil, jacksonSuperNova is the controller of personal data processed through MomoReels, except where a third party identifies itself as a separate controller. Processing may be based on consent, performance of a contract or preliminary procedures requested by you, compliance with legal or regulatory obligations, exercise of rights in legal proceedings, fraud prevention and security, or legitimate interests, as permitted by the Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados Pessoais (LGPD).
Subject to the LGPD and applicable limitations, you may request:
· confirmation that your personal data is being processed and access to that data;
· correction of incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated data;
· anonymization, blocking, or deletion of unnecessary, excessive, or unlawfully processed data;
· portability, where applicable and subject to ANPD regulations and protection of trade secrets;
· deletion of personal data processed on the basis of consent, subject to legal retention exceptions;
· information about public and private entities with which data has been shared;
· information about the possibility and consequences of refusing consent;
· withdrawal of consent and objection to unlawful processing;
· review of decisions made solely through automated processing that affect your interests, where applicable.

MomoReels is not directed to children under 13 or any higher minimum age required by applicable law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below the applicable minimum age without legally valid authorization. Users who are minors must use the Service only with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian where required. If you believe a child has provided personal information in violation of applicable law, contact us and we will investigate and take appropriate action, including deletion where required.
The Service may contain links to, advertisements from, or integrations with third-party websites, applications, payment providers, and services. We do not control those third parties. Information you provide directly to them is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We encourage you to review those policies before using a third-party service.
We may update this Policy to reflect changes in the Service, technology, legal requirements, or business operations. We will update the "Last updated" date when changes are made. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice or request consent before material changes take effect.
