Momma Determination is Jennifer Peete

Jennifer Peete began her career as an editor and newsletter writer for a nonprofit education organization. Later she wrote print and radio ads for an advertising agency, marketing copy for a university, and media releases for a megachurch and public relations firm.

Always having a heart for students, Jennifer volunteered to tutor students and teach classes in school and church programs, and eventually left her writing career to pursue her passion of teaching students to improve their reading, writing, and speaking skills.

Twelve years ago, she created Momma Determination as a medium to speak to students throughout the North Texas region.

Currently, Jennifer is an instructional coach for a local school district. She holds English 6-12 and Speech certifications, a Bachelor of Arts in professional writing from Baylor University, and a Master of Journalism from the University of North Texas.
