• The candidate must have scored 75% marks on the 12th board.

The Selection Process for IIT

The first entrance exam will be conducted. It is conducted in 2 stages, mains and advanced with questions related to physics chemistry, and maths. Both exams will be of 3-hour paper. Only the top 1,50,000 candidates who have qualified IIT mains will be appearing for IIT advanced which will rank candidates for admission to IITs, provided that the candidate is among the top 20% high scorer of their respective board in class 12th examination.
