We are a multidisciplinary research group at West Texas A&M University, bringing together expertise from engineering and science majors to study the behavior of soft and nanostructured materials across multiple scales. Our primary focus is developing a theoretical and computational understanding of nanoscale materials, such as polymers and proteins, using molecular dynamics and coarse-grained simulations. We also explore actuation mechanisms in soft materials and collaborate with experimental groups to validate our models. Our team works closely with local schools, national labs, and international research institutions to advance scientific discovery. Through these collaborations, we strive to push the boundaries of computational materials science while contributing to a deeper understanding of soft matter and nanostructured systems.
