I've had 100 lives, and 100 jobs to match, including multiple positions at communes, with nonprofits, and for event production companies. I've been paid to spin fire, sling drinks, and pedal books. But writing and editing have always been a constant.

I am experienced in journalism, fiction, creative nonfiction, and a variety of styles of business writing and copywriting. 

I have held staff positions as a writer and/or editor at the San Francisco Bay Guardian, Ventura County Reporter, and Ventura County Star. My work has also appeared in The L.A. Times, L.A. Weekly, Bust Magazine, Santa Barbara Independent, Revolver Magazine, The Dipp, and 5 Minute Lit.

Previous writing/editing clients include One Hat One Hand, New Creatures, Kulturehaus, the Art Monastery Project, The Alchemy, and screenwriter Hal Ozsan.

I am also a professionally trained essay reviewer for a college admissions counseling service.

I have a degree in Creative Writing from Reed College, if anyone remembers that far back.
