Comédien, Dramaturge et Metteur en scène, diplômé en art dramatique de l'école supérieure de théâtre Jean Pierre GUINGANE (ESTPJG - CFRAV) au Burkina Faso et lauréat du cycle des lectures " Langues d'Afrique" de la 13ème édition du festival “Les Récréâtrales 2024” avec son texte “Les cinq minutes du quartier ne sont que poussière”.Michael travaille actuellement entre le Burkina Faso et le Burundi.

La transposition des récits historiques sur la scène contemporaine africaine, réécrire les enjeux politique, sociaux, identitaires et mémoriels de ces œuvres, afin de pouvoir offrir aux nouvelles génération une nouvelle lecture de l’histoire africaine, est le moteur de son écriture.

Il a travaillé sur des textes des auteurs Burkinabé, Congolais, Burundais et internationaux. Michael a appris avec des metteurs en scène comme, Aristide TARNAGDA, Noel MINOUNGOU, Luca FUSI, Ildevert MEDA ou encore Maurizio SCHMIDT et tant d’autres.

Actor, playwright and director, Michael holds a diploma in dramatic art from the Jean Pierre GUINGANE (ESTPJG - CFRAV) drama school in Burkina Faso, and won the “Langues d'Afrique” cycle of readings at the 13th edition of the “Les Récréâtrales 2024” festival with his text “Les cinq minutes du quartier ne sont que poussière”.

The transposition of historical narratives onto the contemporary African scene, rewriting the political, social, identity and memory stakes of these works, in order to offer new generations a new reading of African history, is the driving force behind his writing.

He has worked on texts by Burkinabé, Congolese, Burundian and international authors. Michael has worked with directors such as Aristide TARNAGDA, Noel MINOUNGOU, Luca FUSI, Ildevert MEDA and Maurizio SCHMIDT, to name but a few.
