Welcome to MOK : Live Fake GPS(“the App”), developed by farzxaan (“we,” “our,” or “us”).
This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our App.

Our App allows users to simulate (mock) device locations. It is intended primarily for development and testing purposes. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about how the App works.

Information We Collect 

We value your privacy. Our App is designed to function without collecting or storing personal data.

• Personal Data: We do not collect names, email addresses, accounts, or any personally identifiable information.

• Location Data: The App enables users to generate simulated (mock) locations on their device. These mock locations remain entirely on your device. We do not track, log, or transmit either real or simulated location data to our servers.

• Google Places API: For location autocomplete functionality, the App uses the Google Places API. To protect our API key, requests are routed through a secure Firebase function. This function does not log, store, or share your queries or personal information.

• Ola Maps API: For reverse geocoding (converting latitude/longitude into readable addresses), the App uses the Ola Maps Reverse Geocoding API. Requests are sent securely to Ola Maps services. We do not log, store, or transmit any query data beyond what is required for processing the request. 

• Device Data: Crash and error data collected by Sentry is used solely for improving the app and is not sold or shared with third parties. 

Advertising and Third-Party Services  

• The App displays ads provided by Google AdMob, a service by Google LLC. AdMob may use the Advertising ID and other identifiers to serve personalized and non-personalized ads, measure ad performance, and detect fraud 

Data collected by AdMob may include: 

• Advertising ID (used to uniquely identify your device for ad purposes)

• IP address and approximate location (for regional ad targeting)

• Device information (model, OS version, app version, etc.)

• Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks)

We use this information solely to support the display and measurement of ads and to comply with Google’s ad serving policies. You can learn more about how Google uses data for advertising from the link Below:

Third-party services used:

• • Google Places API – provides autocomplete suggestions.

  • Ola Maps Reverse Geocoding API – provides address lookups.

  • Google AdMob – Serves in-app advertisements.

Data Retention  

We do not collect or store any user data. Therefore, no personal or location data is retained. 

Data Sharing and Disclosure  

Crash and error data collected by Sentry is used solely for improving the app and is not sold or shared with third parties. 

Opting Out  

You may choose to disable error reporting by opting out in the app’s settings.  

Disclaimer  

The App is designed for development, testing, and educational purposes only. Users are solely responsible for how they use the App, including compliance with local laws, regulations, and the terms of third-party applications or services.

We disclaim any responsibility for misuse of the App, including but not limited to fraudulent activities, cheating in location-based apps or games, or any illegal usage.

Children’s Privacy   

Our App is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in certain jurisdictions such as the European Union). We do not knowingly collect any information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us, and we will promptly delete it. 

Security    

Although we do not collect personal information, we take reasonable steps to ensure that any communication between the App and third-party services (such as Google Places API and Ola Maps API) is secure.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will update the “Effective Date” at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
